Scoot to Connect faced her competition from last week but wasn't able to best Parallel Parked, who finished second. Cam U Stand It came back from a break last week to turn in a 1:53.4 and a first place finish on a beautiful night at The Meadows. Scoot started from the 5 hole and finished with a 1:55. | |

Scoot to Connect turned in a close 2nd place finish on Friday, Dec 22nd at The Meadows, with a 1:57.0. Scoot raced first with Parallel Parked a close second right to the wire, where she was edged out by a neck. | |

Scoot to Connect turned in another 3rd place finish on Friday, Dec 15th at The Meadows, while shaving a minute off of last week's time. Driver Randy Tharps took Scoot to the front and then dropped her to the two hole where she stayed until the final stretch, to finish 3rd with a 1:56.1 | |
Scoot finishes 3rd...
Scoot to Connect finished 3rd on Friday, Dec 8th at The Meadows, with a 1:57.2. Scoot raced two wide for most of the mile, until driver Randy Tharps took her out and around to the front down the stretch. The wind and the extreme cold combined to make it too much for Scoot to hold on and Red Hot Dame got the win. MeM has high hopes for Scoot at The Meadows now that they will have a driver who's based at the track. Read more about Randy Tharp's decision to move his operation on our news page. | |

Scoot to Connect lined up in the 7 hole, Friday, Dec 1st, where she faced a formidable field including Chotat Milk and Precious Woman. Scoot, racing for the 20th time this year, finished 7th. Scoot will be returning to Mill Creek Farm this week for a much needed rest. | |

MeM took their champion mare Scoot to Connect to Cleveland Friday, 11/10 where she ran a 1:54.0 to finish second. Scoot will coninue to run at Northfield and the Meadows during the winter. | |
Scoot closes out Colonial Downs...
Scoot raced twice last week as racing comes to a close at Colonial Downs. Scoot ran Tuesday, 11/2 and finished second. She ran again on Saturday, the final night and finished in fifth place with 1:52.0. Scoot will be returning to Scioto Downs, for a couple of weeks rest before she returns to the track. | |

Dont Blame Her posts another win...
Everyone's favorite champion 3 year old filly Don't Blame Her lined up against a field of 7 Monday 10/2 at the Coshocton fair, where she started from the inside and never let go of that #1 spot. Blame turned in a respectable 2:00 on this fair track as she went wire to wire to win this race and a chance to prove herself at Northfield Park's Night of Champions 10/13. Congratulations MeM! | |
Scoot finishes in 1:50.4 in Virginia...
Scoot to Connect starts it off big in Virginia as she posts a 150.4, her fastest finish ever. Her time wasn't good enough to beat the winner who finished with a 150.0. Scoot finished fourth. | |
Dont Blame Her comes close in Ohio Breeders Cup...
Blame led from the three hole around to the final stretch, but she coulen't hold out against the tough competition. Blame finished a respectable fourth to end an exciting season. Congratulations MeM! | |

Dont Blame Her draws the three in Ohio Breeders Cup...
Blame will be racing on historic Jug Day this Thursday, 9/21 in the Ohio Breeders Cup. Blame will be racing from the three hole against top fillies' Van Anna, Sand Calady and Still Standing. These fabulous fillies will be putting on a show in race 6 of the evening fair as the opening act for the 3 year old colt pace, the Little Brown Jug later that day. MeM owners are hopeful that Blame will follow in stable mate Scoot to Connect's footsteps, winning the OSS Finals and the OBC in 2005. Best of luck MeM! | |

Don't Blame Her gets a chance to prove she's the number one three year old filly pacer in Ohio. Saturday night at Scioto Downs the top 3 year old fillies will battle it out in the sixth race for a $100,000 purse. Don't Blame Her will start from the third hole with Brett Miller at the reins. Blame takes 2nd at Ohio State Fair Stakes ...
MeM's top ranked 3 year old filly Don't Blame Her turned in a lightning fast 29.2 final quarter to finish 2nd by a nose at Scioto Downs Friday, August 4th. Driver Brett Miller steered Blame 4 wide at the 3/4 pole as they went on a stretch run to overtake front runner and OSS points leader Van Anna. Blame and Van Anna tripped the wire at 1:55.0 with Blame just a nose behind the winner. Stay tuned as these two top fillies heat up the track heading towards the the OSS trophy. | |
MeM enters the Ohio State Fair Stakes Friday...
MeM sends their top ranked 3 year old filly Don't Blame Her to Scioto Downs Friday, August 4th to run in the $29,000 Ohio State Fair Stakes. Race 9 pits Blame against the 3 year old OSS points leader Van Anna in what promises to be a preview of this year's OSS finals. Blame posted a 1:54.4 in her last outing at Scioto Downs and she'll be bringing all that speed to the gate Friday night as Brett Miller again takes the lines. Good luck girl. | |
Two 2nd place finishes...
Don't Blame Her and Scoot to Connect both take number 2 this weekend. Blame raced in second place until she took the lead down the stretch, only to be nosed out at the wire. Blame turned in a nice 1:59.1 time at the fair track with Brett Miller at the lines. Scoot to Connect was also nosed out as she finished 2nd in a tight race with a 1:54.1 as she returned to Scioto Downs following her first place finish last outing. MeM owners were overheard planning ways to breed foals with longer noses in the future. |
2 in for MeM this weekend...
Mem Stables Don't Blame her takes the number 2 spot against 4 opponents this Friday in the Fayette county fair. Blame is currently second in the points race right behind Van Anna . First and Second place for MeM..
Mem Stables Scoot to Connect took the first place spot and never gave it up to win friday night at Scioto Downs with a blistering 1:54.4! If it had been a prize fight the the competition would have thrown in the towel early. Blame raced against a group of GRADE A opponents Saturday at Scioto Downs and fought her best to come in second. Blame also crossed the finish line with a 1:54.4 as Brett Miller drove both horses to great times. |

MeM enters 3 yr old filly Blame in the Tompkins-Geers Stakes being contested Saturday night, July 22nd, at Scioto Downs. Blame will start the 9th race from the 4 hole in the $21,000 race. 2nd and 3rd place finishes for MeM Friday July 14th...
MeM's Blame turned in a sizzling performance on a sloppy track at Northfield Park Friday night against a field of 10. Blame started from the 2 hole where driver Aaron Merriman kept her within a length and a half of leader Sand Calady until the 3/4 pole where he pulled her around to take the lead only to have the 2005 Ohio Horse of the Year Van Anna beat her to the wire at the last second. Blame continues to look good and train well as she enters the home stretch of the OSS. Scoot came from the outside in a 27.1 first quarter to take the lead Friday at Scioto Downs. Driver Dean Collins kept her in the front of the pack until the final quarter but she wasn't able to hold on and finished a strong third in the 1:54.2 race. Stablemate Precious Body finished out a disappointing 2006 meet with a 1:59.4 last place finish. | |

MeM's Dont Blame Her had a rough start at the Marion County Fair Sunday when the 3 horse broke at the gate and kicked Blame's driver, Brett Miller, out of the sulky. Brett was shaken up and was not able to finish the race. Justin Hall took the lines and drove Blame to a 2:09 win, on the strength of a 29.2 final qtr on a very sloppy track. |

Precious is coming off of a second place finish in her last outing, where she stayed close to the front runner until the final quarter. 3 in Memorial Day weekend...
Scoot to Connect, Precious Body and Don't Blame Her will all 3 be racing again this weekend. Dont Blame Her races in the second leg of the OSS at Scioto Downs on Monday, Memorial Day. Blame drew the 3 hole in the 9th race in a field of 9. She'll have some stiff competion on the inside in this 20k race. Scioto has a special day of racing and entertainment scheduled (click here). Precious and Scoot are both at Northfield Park. Precious finished 4th from the 7 hole in the sixth and Scoot finished 4th from the 7 hole in race 11, where she pulled off a first place finish last week. Good luck girls! |

Don't Blame Her wins 1st leg of the 2006 Ohio Sires Stakes..
Blame ran a 1:58.1 from her post position to win the $20,000 3 yr old fill OSS leg. She looked good racing on the 1/2 mile Lebanon track. MeM owners have high hopes for this filly as she starts off her racing career. Stablemate Precious Body finished fourth in her field last night at the opening day for the 2006 Scioto Downs meet. |

Blame will start the 2nd race from the inside as the 2006 Ohio Sires Stakes action kicks off this Friday at Lebanon Raceway. Blame is fresh off her 1st place finish last week and ready to follow in the footsteps of her stable mates Precious Body and Scoot to Connect with a win in the OSS. Good luck MeM. Don't Blame Her finishes first...
Blame turned in a smokin' 1:56.1 in her first outing since laying off most of her 2 year old season. Blame started out of the 5 hole and fell back a spot before steadily nosing her way to the front to beat out her competition by 2/10 of a second. Precious Body did not fare as well, finishing last in her field of 10 with a 1:57.3. |

Precious Body started the 8th race Friday, 4/21, at Hoosier Park. Racing out of the 5 hole Precious turned in a 155.2 in the $4500 purse race to finish second. Good Job Precious! |

Precious races 4/7/06....
FRIDAY RESULTS - Precious turned in a very respectable 155.4 Friday night at Hoosier, but just missed her piece of the $9k in purse money with a 6th place finish. Precious is in to race on Friday, 4/7, at Hoosier Park. Trainer Virgil Morgan, Jr thinks Precious will do better on the larger, one mile track, than she did on the small oval at Lebanon Raceway. She'll be starting the 11th race, a $9,000 purse race, from the 4 hole. Good luck Precious. |

Precious results 3/17/06.... Precious turned in a respectable 2.00 time on the short oval at Lebanon after overcoming several obstacles. Starting from the outside she had a good start but couldn't finish on the boards. Driver Randy Tharps felt he had horse left but she was caught outside and a horse had tripped in front of her. The good news is Trainer Virgil Morgan, Jr. feels positive enough about her to give her another shot this weekend. Precious to race 3/17/06... Precious drew the 8 hole at Lebanon for her second start of 2006. Trainer Virgil Morgan, Jr and MeM owners are hoping to determine if she's recovered completely from running into the gate her first time out at Northfield. |

Precious to race 2/10/06.... Precious started her 1st race of 2006 at Northfield Park and turned in some disappointing results. Confusion at the starting gate caused her to bang the gate at a pretty good clip. Once she got running again she seemed to forget that she was to run forward and quickly fell behind to finish last in a field of 8. MeM owners were heard after the race whispering the dreaded 'A' words into her ear- Amish and Alpo. Better luck next time girl.
